Catching up with old friends is so incredible! I was able to attend a birthday party for the daughter of an old friend. We had a great time and so did the kids. Everyone got to meet Lina and comment on how "big" she is!

The weekend is over and we are back to another busy week!

Good Morning! Where has this week gone? Jenna is busy preparing for 2 homecoming dances this month along with graduation. I feel like we are planning a wedding! She had to have a fitting for her dress yesterday and there is so much to do! We will be publishing her senior pictures very soon.

Juliet is doing great as usual. She is keeping busy with Girl Scouts and hanging out with friends. We will be going on a Ford Rouge Tour in two weeks with her class.

Angelina is growing and eating and keeping me up at night (new development). I don't do very well with lack of sleep so this week has been a rough one. Can't wait for good weather so we can get outside a bit more.

We have been doing spring cleaning at my house and my moms house. That always help perk things up a bit. HAPPY SPRING!

Putting pen to paper again....

Hello again, I am so excited I can take time and write again! As many of you know, I have gone on hiatus in order to take care of Baby Lina and the rest of the family full time! I guess I forgot that when you are taking care of a family, full time means NEVER TAKE A BREAK. I envisioned cleaning, organizing, remodeling my home in my spare time, these daydreams occurred prior to my actually leaving my job. My reality is slightly different. It includes washing bottles and dishes at 2am, showering (finally) at 3 or 3:30am and getting up at 5:45am to get everyone where they need to be for the day. Now this is WORK! So much for "me time"! My favorite things to do list now needs to be updated to include: grocery shopping--without kids, washing my face, successfully feeding the baby cereal while keeping her face virtually clean....(this can get competitive)....and I will think of some others to add later. Recently, on a visit to Kroger, I walked through the health food section while daydreaming of becoming a vegetarian again and eating all organic when I noticed a wonderful scent coming from one of the isles.......Unable to identify the product with the amazing scent, it took me three trips having the same experience to figure it out....it was Mrs. Meyers Clean Day products in lemon verbena scent. I am now addicted to this product and want to buy everything made by this company! I purchased a few of the products and became inspired by the scent to CLEAN and clean some more!

Welcome Baby Lina! I have to introduce you all to my new granddaughter Angelina! Jessica and her husband, Hakim, had a healthy baby girl on October 20, 2011. She has changed our lives for certain.

Getting ready for some travel and for Jessie! Looks like Jessie might be coming home! We can't wait! Also, going to Puerto Rico for my nieces wedding! So FUN!

Wow! It has been years since I have posted!
Josh just turned 21 and is in college, Jessica is in New Mexico and MARRIED!, Jenna is in High School and Juliet is a 2nd Grader! Time flies. I will start posting more often for those of you who live far away and don't get to see us very often.
Jessica, the first picture is especially for you. You wanted a recent picture of me. I love you honey!

LIVE....from the bottom of her locker

Introducing the just discovered photo packet from the bottom of Jenna's locker. Don't mind that all the photos are bent and dirty due to wet boots and God-only-knows-what-else landed on them as the lay domant at the bottom of the locker for the past two months....

I have begged and pleaded with Jenna to bring them home but she refused telling me they were as ugly as I could imagine.... I was able to access her locker Wednesday night and was successful in grabbing these... Thank goodness there was a CD included with the package....so I can share this photo with all of you!!!! I think it is nice. Jenna is now a Freshman and likes her new school very much. I plan to give these pics out to anyone who will hang them on their wall.....(just to bug Jenna as much as possible)....so give me a jingle if you wish to have one of your very own....I may even be able to arrange a signed copy for you! Guess what everyone's getting for Christmas???

Happy Halloween! What a wonderful time of year.....! We had a fun filled weekend with Halloween Carnivals, tailgating parties, parades, Homecoming games and the Homecoming Dance all packed into two days! Here are a few of the photos from those events.

Harvest Weekend!

We had a very busy Sunday this week. Hess-Hathaway park had their annual Harvest Festival and we also went to a cider mill after the park. Juliet got her face painted .... Jenna didn't want hers done. We played and ate and played some more....We are all exhausted tonight and ready for bed now!! GREAT WEEKEND!!!

Sue's Wedding

Sue and Frank had a perfect day to get married! They were married near the lake and had a Hawaiian theme. It was a wonderful wedding! Congrats Sue and Frank!

Walled Lake Northern High School--JV had their first football game and Jenna performed in it! ALL the girls did a fantastic job!
